Argentina 3-0 Venezuela: Higuain the star as Albiceleste edge closer to Brazil 2014

Two goals from Gonzalo Higuain were the key for Argentina as the South American giants took another big leap towards Brazil 2014, the Real Madrid star combining expertly with Lionel Messi to take down Venezuela 3-0 at home.

Both of Pipita s strikes were laid on by Lio, who also found his way onto the scoresheet with a powerful penalty during the first half.

Playing in front of their own fans for the first time in 2013, Argentina came out in the Monumental looking for early goals, with Lionel Messi looking to make the difference. The Barcelona wizard had the crowd on its feet in the first few minutes when he skipped in on goal in the opening minutes, but his shot was palmed away by Dani Hernandez.

Beating Italy at Euro 2016 ´a big moment´ for Hummels

Germany defender Mats Hummels says the Euro 2016 quarter-final win over Italy was a big moment , although he does not believe his country s national team have broken any form of curse.

Joachim Low s side triumphed 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Bordeaux in July, with Hummels among those to be successful from the spot before Matteo Darmian missed the crucial kick.

The victory was Germany s first over Italy at a major tournament and went some way towards avenging defeats suffered at the 2006 World Cup and the semi-final stage of Euro 2012, although the reigning world champions went on to lose to hosts France in the last four this year.

Speaking ahead of the friendly clash between the teams in Milan on Tuesday, Hummels acknowledged it was an important triumph …

´Extraordinary guy´ Wenger should have left after 2017 FA Cup final triumph – Arsenal great Wilson

Arsene Wenger is an extraordinary guy who still has Arsenal in his bones but he should have left after winning a seventh FA Cup, says Bob Wilson.

Monday marks the two-year anniversary of Wenger announcing he would be departing the Gunners at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Wenger masterminded one of the greatest periods in Arsenal s history during his near 22-year stay in north London, winning three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups – including two doubles.

The Frenchman also oversaw Arsenal s Invincibles , who incredibly went unbeaten during the 2003-04 campaign.

However, factions of supporters turned against him towards the later years of his tenure and there was an ever-growing Wenger Out brigade at the Emirates Stadium.

We haven’t seen the best of the Philadelphia passing game of late but that hasn’t stopped Super Bowl player prop bettors from driving up A.J. Brown’s receiving markets.

Today, I’m looking specifically at his reception total and how the addition of some more mouths in the passing game and an underrated Kansas City pass defense are working against Brown having a high-volume performance in Super Bowl LVII.

How to Stream Buccaneers vs Bills Live Free — in the U.S.

Tonight has all the makings of a “get-right” game for the Buffalo Bills, who are coming of a shocking 29-25 loss to the underdog New England Patriots on Sunday. Josh Allen threw for just 265 yards and was picked off once against the Pats as Buffalo lost its second game in three weeks. It was a surprising turn of events for a team that entered the season with championship aspirations, but the Bills insist they aren’t panicking yet.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meanwhile, already look like one of the NFL’s biggest overachievers. The Bucs have three wins in their first six games, which puts them on pace to shatter their preseason win total projection of 6. Will they get closer to that goal this evening on Thursday Night Football, or will the Bills find their footing and re…
