Chadli leaves Monaco to join Turkish champions

Belgium international Nacer Chadli has left Monaco to join Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir, the clubs announced on Thursday.

Former Tottenham winger Chadli signed for Monaco in August 2018, after a two-year spell with West Brom, but after one season in the principality he was loaned to Anderlecht for the 2019-20 campaign.

Rather than challenge for a place in new coach Niko Kovac s Monaco squad, the 31-year-old, capped 59 times by Belgium, is heading to Istanbul to join a team that won their first Super Lig title last term.

Istanbul Basaksehir said on their website that Chadli had signed a two-year contract with them, while Monaco also confirmed the deal was done.

No transfer fee details were announced by either side.

Inter sign Sensi from Sassuolo

Inter have announced the signing of Stefano Sensi from Sassuolo on loan with the option of a permanent deal.

The 23-year-old midfielder made the breakthrough at international level with Italy last November after impressing in Serie A.

Sassuolo s sporting director Giovanni Carnevali recently revealed Inter were the frontrunners to sign Sensi, who had also attracted rumoured interest from fierce rivals AC Milan.

And Antonio Conte s side have now confirmed an agreement with Sassuolo.

Inter have paid a reported €5million fee to take Sensi on loan for the 2019-20 campaign and also have the right to purchase him in a year s time for around five times that amount.

Joachim Loew says he is uncertain of his future in charge of Germany following their Euro 2012 semi-final defeat at the hands of Italy.

Dnipro striker Nikola Kalinic has decided to join Serie A outfit Fiorentina, according to his agent Tomislav Erceg.

Paulo Sousa s Fiorentina are on the hunt for a striker after Mario Gomez was loaned to Besiktas for the 2015-16 season and Croatia international Kalinic has emerged as the likeliest new arrival from Ukraine.
