C.J Stroud Odds and Wild Card Props: Will Browns Keep Rookie Down?

C.J. Stroud odds are a popular item as the Houston Texans try to open the NFL Wild Card Round on Saturday afternoon by springing a home upset against Joe Flacco and the Cleveland Browns.

While the Texans get a home game, they’re Wild Card odds underdogs against the Browns, who finished the year 11-6, while Houston won the AFC South with a 10-7 record. Stroud will have to match his best form this season to keep Houston’s NFL odds to win the Super Bowl alive, which comes across in my NFL player prop picks for the Texans rookie quarterback.

If you’re looking for more analysis of this matchup, check out Covers’ Browns vs. Texans picks and predictions, as well as our Browns vs. Texans props for this Wild Card battle.

NFL Best Bets and Player Props for Week 3: Rasheed Shaheed Rips Eagles Secondary

Week 3 of the NFL season kicked off with a TNF matchup between the Patriots and Jets.

I expected it to be a boring game where both teams trusted things that were safe and reliable. Instead, we had two pass-happy game plans that, well, worked out for the Jets.

That game also serves as an inspiration for my NFL player prop picks this week, as I was planning on taking the trustworthy names and players… but have since made an audible and am going to focus on some big (and little) names across various passing games.

So my NFL picks this week are backing one of the most reliable QBs in the league, two one of the most explosive WRs around, and an emerging positional matchup that might become a weekly auto-bet.

Argentina 3-0 Venezuela: Higuain the star as Albiceleste edge closer to Brazil 2014

Two goals from Gonzalo Higuain were the key for Argentina as the South American giants took another big leap towards Brazil 2014, the Real Madrid star combining expertly with Lionel Messi to take down Venezuela 3-0 at home.

Both of Pipita s strikes were laid on by Lio, who also found his way onto the scoresheet with a powerful penalty during the first half.

Playing in front of their own fans for the first time in 2013, Argentina came out in the Monumental looking for early goals, with Lionel Messi looking to make the difference. The Barcelona wizard had the crowd on its feet in the first few minutes when he skipped in on goal in the opening minutes, but his shot was palmed away by Dani Hernandez.

Academy product Kimpembe has become an increasingly important player for PSG, starting 27 Ligue 1 games last season as Unai Emery s side completed a domestic clean sweep.

Beating Italy at Euro 2016 ´a big moment´ for Hummels

Germany defender Mats Hummels says the Euro 2016 quarter-final win over Italy was a big moment , although he does not believe his country s national team have broken any form of curse.

Joachim Low s side triumphed 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Bordeaux in July, with Hummels among those to be successful from the spot before Matteo Darmian missed the crucial kick.

The victory was Germany s first over Italy at a major tournament and went some way towards avenging defeats suffered at the 2006 World Cup and the semi-final stage of Euro 2012, although the reigning world champions went on to lose to hosts France in the last four this year.

Speaking ahead of the friendly clash between the teams in Milan on Tuesday, Hummels acknowledged it was an important triumph …

´Extraordinary guy´ Wenger should have left after 2017 FA Cup final triumph – Arsenal great Wilson

Arsene Wenger is an extraordinary guy who still has Arsenal in his bones but he should have left after winning a seventh FA Cup, says Bob Wilson.

Monday marks the two-year anniversary of Wenger announcing he would be departing the Gunners at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Wenger masterminded one of the greatest periods in Arsenal s history during his near 22-year stay in north London, winning three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups – including two doubles.

The Frenchman also oversaw Arsenal s Invincibles , who incredibly went unbeaten during the 2003-04 campaign.

However, factions of supporters turned against him towards the later years of his tenure and there was an ever-growing Wenger Out brigade at the Emirates Stadium.
